TermThis
Mitsubishi Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle 10-year/100,000 mile Powertrain Limited
Warranty covers the repair or replacement of covered powertrain components
listed, originally manufactured or installed by Mitsubishi Motors that are found
to be defective in material or factory workmanship under normal use and
maintenance.
For the
original certified pre-owned vehicle owner, this Mitsubishi Certified Pre-Owned
Vehicle 10-year/100,000 mile Powertrain Limited Warranty will cover the listed
powertrain components up to 10 years from the vehicle's original in-service date
or date of first use or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. This Mitsubishi
Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle 10-year/100,000 mile Powertrain Limited Warranty is
NOT transferable to any subsequent owner. Subsequent owners will receive the
balance of the Powertrain Components coverage under the New Vehicle Limited
Warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles, whichever comes first, as set forth in the
vehicle's "Warranty and Maintenance Manual."
The
"original certified pre-owned vehicle owner" is defined as the first purchaser
of this Mitsubishi Pre-Owned Certified Vehicle purchased from an authorized
Mitsubishi dealer. The "original in-service date" is defined as the date of
original retail delivery or date of first use, whichever occurred first. The
date of record on file with Mitsubishi shall constitute the official in-service
date.
This Mitsubishi Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle,
10-year/100,000 mile Powertrain Limited Warranty applies only to vehicles
registered in the United States and the District of Columbia and excludes
vehicles placed in commercial use (e.g. taxi, route delivery, rental, livery
service, etc). Mitsubishi Raider, Lancer Evolution, Lancer Ralliart and Lancer
Sportback Ralliart models are not eligible for this program.

Vehicle EligibilityOnly Mitsubishi models less than five years old --
with fewer than 60,000 miles -- are eligible for certification, and then they
must pass a rigorous, 123-point inspection. (Excludes Raider, Lancer
Evolution, Lancer Ralliart and Lancer Sportback Ralliart models.)
